Regional Express Airlines have arrived in the Far North this week to start preparing for their new services from Cairns to Mt Isa via the Gulf. Skytrans Airlines will cease services on this route at the end of the year. Regional Express Airlines were awarded 5 of the Queensland regulated routes, the other 4 being from Brisbane and Townsville.
